Exec: Novatek expects to start getting Yamal LNG divs ‘21

MOSCOW, Oct 31 (PRIME) -- Russian gas producer Novatek expects to receive the first dividends from liquefied natural gas (LNG) project Yamal LNG in 2021, Deputy CEO Mark Gyetvay said at a conference call on Thursday.

“Taking into account the cash flow estimates for Yamal LNG, we will most probably start to receive dividend payments approximately from 2021,” Gyetvay said.

The Yamal LNG facility is based on the Yuzhno-Tambeiskoye field on the northern Yamal Peninsula. Novatek holds 50.1% in the project, France’s Total has 20%, China’s CNPC owns 20%, and China’s Silk Road Fund holds 9.9%.
